# Overview

## Project Overview

Ararat Global's Short-Term Mining is a cutting-edge initiative DeFi tool built on FVM that implements Filecoin staking through flexible short-term mining options for our users through their Metamask account. Users simply select how much FIL collateral they would like to pledge and select how long they would like to mine Filecoin. We offer mining periods of 30, 90, 180, and 360 days, providing Filecoin enthusiasts with an opportunity to participate in supporting the Filecoin network and earn daily eFIL rewards (a 1:1 stablecoin to Filecoin) within a timeframe that suits their individual preferences. Once the mining period is complete, the pledge will automatically be deposited into their Metamask account as eFIL. Users can then withdraw their eFIL balance to FIL at any time.
